Russky ISTC supports and fosters scientific collaborations, including international ones, that implement breakthrough ideas and solutions for competitive industries in Asia-Pacific region economies.
One of the key objectives is to increase the research potential of the Russian Far East and attract both Russian and international researchers and engineers to conduct scientific and technological activities at Russky ISTC.

TEAMS WITH KNOWLEDGE AND TECHNOLOGIES
The program’s implementation will unite the efforts of scientific and engineering teams with dynamically growing companies in the Russian Far East, aiming to enter the Asia-Pacific markets with high-tech, knowledge-intensive products and to increase the share of knowledge-based production in the region.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR SCIENTISTS AND ENGINEERS AT RUSSKY ISTC
Commercialization of personal developments and technologies in partnership with Russky ISTC residents and/or partners
Use of ISTC infrastructure and services to implement personal scientific and technological projects
Employment with resident companies (leading research laboratories, etc.)
Participation in the development and testing of new educational programs for high-tech industries
Expert activities (participation in the work of ISTC’s collegial and expert management bodies)

REQUIREMENTS FOR SCIENTISTS
Level 1
- Experience in creating and/or managing a laboratory, research and educational center (REC), or R&D department of a large company (at least 5 years)
- Nobel laureate and/or Fields Medal and/or Abel Prize recipient
- Hirsch index of 30+ in WoS, Scopus
- Publications in journals indexed in WoS, Scopus in the past 3 years
Level 2

Experience in conducting scientific projects (at least 3 years)

CPI qualification (or equivalent)

Work experience: at least 3 years in the real economy sector, with experience at one of the world’s top 300 universities

5+ years of R&D experience

Availability of: Industrial partners for projects over the past 3 years; Laboratory, REC, or R&D management experience; International partners for projects over the past 3 years
Level 3
- Availability of a research program and a list of potential partners (for each point of the research program)
- Laureate of prizes, grants, or scholarships
- Victories in scientific Olympiads and/or competitions at the national and/or international level over the past 3 years
- Work experience at one of the world’s top 1000 universities
